MEET GLORIA NAUDEN
For more than three decades in Washington DC, Gloria has been a respected leader at the intersection of culture, commerce, and community. She has served on community boards, held both elected (ANC 6A Commissioner) and mayoral-appointed (DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities) roles, and works across banking, finance, philanthropy, and the arts. Her vision has never wavered: build thriving neighborhoods, expand economic opportunity, and center the voices of the people she serves.
As a homeowner living on the Capitol Hill side of H Street, NE, Gloria has always been a civically engaged neighbor. As a single mother of two daughters attending both DC Public Schools and DC public charter schools, she brings a parent’s perspective and commitment to building a safer, stronger, more affordable Ward 6.

35-year Ward 6 resident and homeowner. Single mother of two daughters in DC public and charter schools. Former ANC 6A Commissioner and mayoral appointee with experience in community development, finance, philanthropy, and the arts. Practical leadership. Real results for Ward 6.
ON THE ISSUES THAT MATTER MOST
Public Safety: Connected hundreds of DC students to careers through youth internships and workforce programs — strengthening opportunity and community stability. Supports community policing and rebuilding MPD to full staffing to keep our neighborhoods safe.
Affordability: Strengthened local economies through proven public-private partnerships. Will expand affordable rental and homeownership options, support first-time buyers, and protect longtime residents from displacement.
Community: Helped more than 1,000 DC small businesses survive and grow as a bank executive and financial first responder — protecting jobs and neighborhood vitality.
